13 - Regular bi-monthly meeting of Dallas Fire Fighter
Retiree's, formally meeting at Furr's in Garland, will now meet by-monthly
at the Ryan's Family Steak House, located at 909 Tripp Road, Mesquite,
Texas 75150 at 11:00 AM. This is located east of the Town East Shopping
center, near Galloway and Tripp.
20 to 22 - Denton State School Dallas at Six Flags
Over Texas. They are in need of volunteers to help the regular on duty
personnel with this function. They are requesting the help of any
retiree's that can help.

The Auxiliary of the Dallas Fire Fighters Association will
celebrate their golden anniversary of service to the Dallas Fire Fighters
on the 18th of October, 2008. The president, Donna Chumley, is
trying to get word out to all past members of their
auxiliary to help with this celebration. These early members paved the way
for the organization as it is today and we want to make sure they are
included in these functions. We need all contact information available,
such as telephone numbers, mailing addresses, and e-mail information.
